From a Small Studio in New Minas, NS to the World: Our Internet Radio Station is Live!

Hey everyone,

I’m Adam Reid, and today I’m sitting here in our little broadcast studio in New Minas, Nova Scotia, with the biggest smile on my face. After months of blood, sweat, and way too many late nights, our internet radio station is officially on the air — and it’s reaching listeners worldwide.

This wasn’t some overnight success story. We worked hard for this. From the very first idea scribbled on a napkin to the moment we flipped the switch and heard our first song stream out across the globe, every single step was earned. We faced hurdles that felt like mountains at the time: unreliable internet in a small town, equipment that kept glitching at the worst possible moments, licensing headaches, technical gremlins that seemed to appear out of nowhere, and more than a few “are we really doing this?” moments of doubt. But every time we hit a wall, we reminded ourselves why we started — to bring great music, local voices, and good vibes to anyone with an internet connection, no matter where they are.

And now? We’re broadcasting live from New Minas, NS — population roughly 5,000 — straight into your headphones in Halifax, Toronto, New York, London, Tokyo, or wherever you happen to be tuning in. That still blows my mind. One small studio in the Annapolis Valley, one big dream, and suddenly the world is listening.

None of this would matter without you.

To every single listener who has already tuned in, shared the station with friends, dropped us a message, or just quietly let the music play while you work, drive, or unwind: thank you. Thank you for being here. Thank you for believing in what we’re building. Thank you for making all those long nights and tough hurdles worth it. You’re the reason the station exists, and you’re the reason we’re going to keep growing.

We’ve got big plans ahead — more live shows, local artist spotlights, community segments, and plenty of surprises. But right now, I just want to take a moment to celebrate this milestone with you.
