Over the next week, we’ll be rolling out a brand-new high-quality streaming option designed to make everything you hear on the station sound cleaner, richer, and more detailed than ever before. Whether it’s the latest Top 40 hits, throwbacks, or our live on-air content, the goal is simple: better sound, everywhere you listen.
Two streams, one station
Once the update is live, listeners will have the choice between two streaming options:
- 128kb stream – Our current standard stream, familiar and lightweight for quick listening and lower data usage.
- 320kb high-quality stream – A new premium audio option offering significantly improved clarity, depth, and overall sound quality.
This means you’ll be able to choose what works best for your device, your connection, and your listening preferences. If you want maximum audio quality, the 320kb stream will be the way to go. If you prefer a lighter stream for mobile data or slower connections, the 128kb option will still be available.
Why the upgrade?
Audio quality matters. As Fresh 93 continues to grow, we want the listening experience to match the energy of the music and content we deliver. The new 320kb stream is part of that commitment — giving our audience a more polished, professional-grade sound that feels closer to studio quality.
It’s also about flexibility. Different listeners have different needs, and this upgrade ensures everyone gets the best possible experience for their situation.
What to expect next
We’re currently finalizing the setup and testing both streams to make sure everything runs smoothly before launch. If all goes to plan, the new high-quality option will be fully available within the next week.
No interruptions, no complicated changes — just a new option added alongside the existing stream.
Final word
Fresh 93 has always been about delivering great music and a strong connection to our listeners. This upgrade is another step in that direction, making sure the sound matches the station you’ve come to enjoy.
Stay tuned — the better sound is almost here.
